We aim to narrow the justice gap by providing responsive, affordable legal services to aspiring Americans.

As a public benefit corporation, Aspire is dedicated to upholding immigrants’ rights. We offer accessible representation to clients before the Immigration Court, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Founder and principal attorney Marlise Armstrong previously served as a Justice AmeriCorps Fellow at Catholic Charities, representing unaccompanied minors before the Denver Immigration Court. She is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, where she completed internships with the Harvard Immigrant and Refugee Clinic, UC Berkeley’s East Bay Community Law Center, the National Immigration Law Center, and the Post-Deportation Human Rights Project.

Aspire's Unique Impact

Aspire focuses on providing services to immigrants of moderate and limited means, especially those with pressing humanitarian needs, including unaccompanied minors, LGBTQ people, and survivors of domestic violence, trafficking, and torture.

Only about half of immigrants facing removal proceedings in Colorado are represented (51%). While representation rates are higher for children (61%), Aspire firmly believes that no child should ever have to appear before an immigration judge without counsel.

Clients who are represented by an attorney are over ten times as likely to prevail in their cases than those who are unrepresented.
